Jefferson Pointe Mall’s - Food Court Saturday, February 28, 12 P.M. - 2 P.M. - An afternoon of family fun With Author Caroline Brewer and local elementary school artists Meet Ms. Brewer and hear her read from her latest book, "Kara and Friends Meet Abraham Lincoln". Meet and talk to some of the 19 Fort Wayne area children who illustrated the book with 3-D art. Children can participate in Lincoln-related contests and enter drawings for books and other prizes. They'll be able to color pages from important moments in Mr. Lincoln's life, and make a Popsicle stick log cabin frame to take home. View the spectacular 3-D artwork of young artists, which includes materials such as satin, blue jeans, bubble wrap and popsicle sticks. Purchase and have autographed your own copy of "Kara and Friends Meet Abraham Lincoln", a 6-chapter book for school-aged children that explores Mr. Lincoln's humanity and rhymes throughout.
